Mari Mari Cultural Village is located deep in the countryside away from the modern city life of Kota Kinabalu City. It is just about 45 minutes drive north from Kota Kinabalu City. Mari Mari Cultural Village operates as a museum that preserves the Sabah Borneo ethnic culture and heritage. A relaxed and leisure sightseeing activity that is suitable for your whole family, young and old. There will be an inhoused guide to bring you around the traditional homes. Mari Mari Cultural Village showcases various traditional homes of the Sabah Borneo indigenous people, such as Bajau, Lundayeh, Murut, Rungus and Dusun. Most of the traditional homes are built to represent the heritage of a past time in Sabah Borneo. To further your knowledge on Borneo culture, you can witness the making of traditional blowpipe, tattooing and fire-starting. You’ll get to gain an insight into the mystical belief systems of each of these Sabah Borneo indigenous people. You can also get a taste the traditional snacks that are prepared for you during the tour. A short traditional dance recital is also included in the tour for you to witness before your tour ends.

9 am / 2 pm / 5 pm Pick up from the hotel and proceed to Mari-Mari Cultural Village in Inanam. Upon arrival, you will be greeted as preparation for you time-traveling into prehistoric Borneo; briefing on the Village Rules is a must before you enter.
