Kota Kinabalu is the capital city of Sabah, Malaysia. It is located in the northern part of the island of Borneo. Locals often called it KK, a coastal city that is partly surrounded by tropical Borneo Rainforest. It is also known for bustling markets, modern boardwalk, beaches and delicate cuisine. You will have the chance to see some of the city’s highlights during this tour. Apart from that, you’ll get to experience a less touristy and authentic part of Kota Kinabalu City. Make your way to visit some of the iconic buildings in Kota Kinabalu City, such as Atkinson Clock Tower and Kota Kinabalu Floating Mosque. Then, experience the outskirt part of Kota Kinabalu City with a visit to a local market in Penampang. See the locals daily social and trading activities at the market. The local market offers fresh produce, seafood, vegetables and more. Most of the products are grown locally around the Kota Kinabalu area. Enjoy an authentic local meal as your lunch in one of the local eateries. The major highlight of this tour will be a visit to the Crocker Range National Park in Penampang. It has a breathtaking view of Kota Kinabalu City, the ocean, and surrounding islands. Be sure to capture the photos when you are there as a remembrance of your trip here in Kota Kinabalu City.

We think this is the absolute best view point of the capital city of Borneo and hope you will too. If you’re lucky you’ll notice Mt Kinabalu looming over the ocean on the left hand side of the viewpoint.
  • After resting at the viewpoint to your leisure our driver will return you back to your hotel by mid afternoon.
